Epic Haiku & Limerick App Reviews

Epic haiku

I have used this regularly on my iPhone and was pleased. I was about to buy an iPad. Fortunately, I waited since its now broken and I can only get in remotely using my notebook. Any chance of a fix this year?

No longer works (v1.2)

Used to love this app, but for the past month it started having glitches when reviewing notes. Then about a week ago it stopped working altogether. Wish theyd come out with a fix to these glitches.

Notes...

Need to fix the ability to review notes. You can only see a few and it does not let you scroll back any farther.

Nice app

Pared down interface gives you access to schedule but not much access to chart data. Good to see what you have on a certain day and maybe open a chart to contact a patient, but not much else in terms of charting, at least on my hospotals version. The inbox is where this app excels. It is by far the easiest way to reply to messages from your mobile device. Wish you could access other user schedules, but I dont know if this is limited by haiku or by my hospital so Ill still rate 5 stars because it does what it claims to do and does it well.

iOS7

Does current version of Haiku/Canto support iOS7? I can not login to Haiku today (upgrade was done last night)...

Good but still missing some things.

Needs inputs and outputs. Good for labs

Schedule times all out of order

Since the most recent upgrade, my schedule times are listed completely out of chronological order. please fix this problem since it did not exist in the previous version

Upgrade is a problem

I find this app very helpful when I am on call, as it gives me mobile access to patient charts for review. The latest update, though, seems to scramble the schedule!

Patient schedule out of order

With most recent update schedule is no longer in chronological order, patients are jumbled in an unknown order and cannot be sorted.

Schedule out of order

Ive liked having my schedule on the go but, as others have said, the last update doesnt display chronologically. This is a lot less useful.

Crap

Thanks for finally getting my schedule right.

Emgman

Do not update to this app if you have an ipad1. The old Haiku for the iPhone worked fine on the iPad but the new version requires IOS 6.0 which is not available for the ipad1. Unlike other companies and as typical of Epic, they are not user friendly and the new app is not backwards compatible. They no longer offer support for older versions or make available previous versions on the App store.

Annoying new feature. 3/8/14

New version signs out if you toggle away from app for just a second, for example, to access phone controls. This is very annoying when on the phone with a pharmacy. I had to re-sign in 4 times and re-search for the patient as I moved back and forth from phone keypad to Haiku. It was not this way before recent update. Extremely annoying feature.

Good, useful, not perfect

Would like ability to print/send documents and reports from the app. I still use paper in my office, and it would be helpful to be able to print MRI reports, labs, and consult notes directly from Haiku.

Good app, vital hard to find.

It is really hard to find vital signs within the app. Putting in the summary would be best.

No Notes

You cant see written notes with this app. Labs are listed in a gigantic scrolling list with no order

Practical

A great way to access EPIC. Good interface and options to work on patient chart. Can check labs but not imaging studies. Cant put in orders. Crashes some times. A good app that can be made even better. Hoping to see more updates and stability.

This app crashes and killed my patient

The haiku app is a great idea in theory for busy doctors like me. Unfortunately it crashed and cause me to miss an appointment with a critical heart patient Mr. Joseph Rouse. Unfortunately he expired and I had to apologize to Mr. Rouses family. Needless to say I uninstalled haiku right away.

Needs improvement

The only thing this app is beneficial for is to view your schedule and to view lab results. There needs to be much more work done to improve its functionality. In particular, the inbox. The inbox should have the things we as clinicians use the most: results, pt advice requests, & phone calls. The results section was more beneficial prior to the most recent update because you could at least send a result note along with a lab result. But with the updated version, the only way you are able to manage labs and send results to patients are via mychart result release. To have this as the only option is totally impractical as about only 30% of patients are signed up for mychart. This app would be a total asset for clinicians if it were created with every day tasks of the clinician in mind.
